MONOMI

In JN.Mellor Club's work, it's as important to create objects as it is to offer them the possibilities of use, the conditions for displacement and to create their own mythology.
During his residency at Villa Kujoyama, JN.Mellor Club invites another duo of visual artists: Fanny Terno and Thomas Vauthier (DISCONOMA) to question the status of these objects created during the residency in Kyoto in a performative proposition, sketching out a new ritual borrowing from the purification gestures echoing the tea ceremony. An alternative theatrical moment between dance, manipulation and ceremony.
